Fill-in-the-Blank Bio:
I’m not just a kayaker, I’m a lifestyle technician, or at least that’s what I tell myself. I’ve spent no less than half of my life kayaking wherever I can. While boating, I occasionally swim, but that doesn’t mean I can’t run the brown too! My favorite move is the boof, but I also love a good stern squirt in a long boat.

Hometown:
I was born in Hamilton, OH, but when not living in my car, the South of Chile and White Salmon, WA are where I rest my head these days

Favorite Waters:
Here’s a short list of of favorites, but I really love most rivers and creeks: Little White Salmon, White Salmon, Yough, Gauley, Salween, Alsaseca, Liucura and Trancura and their tributaries, the ocean, and pretty much anything in the Sierras of California!

Hero(s):
The Riversport Family for being such great teachers and friends, Dan Gavere and the Kavu Day crew for making traveling and kayaking look like the coolest lifestyle ever, and Billy Craig for teaching me how to live that lifestyle

Off-the-Water Activities:
If I’m not kayaking, you can usually find me falling off of a surfboard or skateboard.
